HOW TO APPLY

Inspect & clean
Remove dust, grease, loose paint, unstable plaster and fungal growth. The surface must be clean and sound.
Treat dampness
Resolve any damp patches or seepage at the source – with Aqua Seal 2K where recommended – before applying putty.
Repair damage
Repair significant cracks, holes and damaged plaster with suitable materials. Use Salt Block on persistent chalky surfaces.
Prepare the putty
Mix as the approved instructions direct, adding only the specified clean water if supplied as powder. Never guess the ratio.
First coat
Apply a thin, even coat with a putty blade or steel trowel, filling pores and pinholes, then let it dry.
Second coat
Once at the approved recoat condition, apply a second thin coat. Avoid excessive thickness.
Finish & dust off
After drying, finish the surface as recommended and remove all sanding dust.
Primer & emulsion
Apply a compatible Kerala Paints interior primer – Prime Silver, Prime Gold or Prime Platinum – then an interior emulsion.
