Kerala Paints Waterproof Putty is a water-resistant wall levelling putty for interior and exterior masonry. It helps create a smoother, more uniform surface before primer and decorative emulsion, and helps reduce moisture absorption through the putty layer.

It is not a replacement for structural repairs or dedicated waterproofing treatment. Always address existing seepage and moisture problems before applying it.

Always check substrate suitability and exposure conditions before application. Never apply putty over active seepage.

HOW TO APPLY

Prepare & clean
Remove dust, grease, loose paint, unstable plaster, loose cement and biological growth. Repair significant cracks and holes.
Treat moisture
Find and fix the source of dampness or seepage first – with Aqua Seal 2K where appropriate, and Salt Block on chalky surfaces.
Mix correctly
Follow the approved mixing instructions, adding only the specified clean water. Never add cement, sand or other materials.
First coat
Apply a thin, even layer with a putty blade or steel trowel, filling pores and imperfections, then let it dry.
Second coat
Once at the approved recoat condition, apply the second thin coat evenly, without excess build-up.
Finish & prime
Smooth the dried putty, remove sanding dust and apply a compatible Kerala Paints primer such as Prime Gold or Prime Platinum.
Emulsion topcoat
Finish with a compatible Kerala Paints interior or exterior emulsion.
